The Silence on Ron Paul is Killing Me

Rich Galen and Donald Lambro both wrote columns about the GOP debates and pros and cons of the candidates, however there was one glaring omission in their analysis: Congressman Ron Paul. Not that it surprises me that most mainstream conservative columnists are avoiding the issue. Just one look at how supposedly conservative Fox News is treating him and we can understand what the marching orders are.

Yet it is surprising on a different level. It is inexplicable to me how anyone who claims to be a conservative could totally overlook a person like Ron Paul. Ron Paul is the most conservative of the bunch. Besides Tom Tancredo, he's the only one advocating border security and stopping the idiotic Security and Prosperity Partnership.

While the front runners John McCain, Mitt Romney and Ruddy Guliani have wonderful distinctions and accomplishments such as limiting free speech, supporting abortion and never having met a gay advocacy group he couldn't support respectively, Ron Paul sticks staunchly to his principles. Excuse me, but can anyone name the principles that McCain has consistently held throughout his life, save the principle that he's wonderful and no one should question his positions? What about the other two? Can we guarantee that if they become President, they won't sell us down the river at the first opportunity for political power or monetary gain?

There is a distinction between a career politician and a Statesman and that can be seen in Ron Paul. It is conviction and the lack of willingness to compromise on core beliefs. Interestingly enough, that reminds me of the definition Rush Limbaugh has espoused for almost 20 years. Isn't it funny that Mr. "I have the power" ignores his own definitions when it comes to a man who's policies he doesn't agree with?

Ron Paul believes in limited government, lower taxes - to put it mildly, supports the second amendment and the original interpretation of the constitution, not some watered-down psycho-babble version that happens to be convenient for the elites to use to control the rest of us. Ron Paul believes that life has intrinsic value and can't be thrown away just because certain lives are inconvenient for certain self-absorbed people.

While most of the pack jostles for position in front of the microphone to declare that they are channeling the spirit of Ronald Reagan, Ron Paul simply shows that he was always a Reagan Republican and no posturing is necessary.

Congressman Ron Paul may not have a chance in the minds of the political establishment or in the view of the media pundits and columnists who can't remember what it was like to not see themselves as smarter than the rest of us, but the American People know a genuine Statesman when they see one. This is why the polls have had Congressman Paul winning. This is also why Fox News had to lie about their own poll to spin the results. Faux News: Fairly Imbalanced announced that of their poll which was not accessible to internet voters, the results were skewed by the same internet voters which they denied access. What was the result that they were making absurd excuses for? Mitt Romney and Ron Paul in a virtual tie, with Ruddy trailing badly. Now that's what I would call reaching down deep and taking one for the team.

Don't go whining at me about my distrust of Fox News, go talk to ol' Rupert about his fund raisers for Hillary. While you're at it, ask Limbaugh - my childhood idol - a question or two about why he is so dead-set against Congressman Paul. I refuse to believe the tired old line that so many of the political establishment keep telling us about how small name candidates, or truly conservative candidates for that matter don't have a chance. He supported Reagan, who was not exactly looked at as Presidential for a long time. The only reason Ron Paul will not get his chance is the willful deceit of the political establishment to paint him as someone who no one is supporting. These people know that they can make a self-fulfilling prophecy. What was it that Hitler said about repeating a lie often enough?

So Limbaugh censors Paul supporters based on the empty idea that he's not got a chance. Then, in nearly the same breath he declares himself all-powerful when it comes to determining who the Republican nominee is. Would someone point out to Mr. Limbaugh the flaw in his logic please?

Fox New's somewhat conservative host Sean Hannity basically attacks Ron Paul in his interview and fauns all over Mitt Romney. Why is it that 'conservatives' are attacking their own? Because Ron Paul is anti-war, and apparently the definition of conservative has changed. In order to be patriotic and conservative we have to now subscribe to the view that war is good. We have to believe that this 'generational' war that was never declared by Congress as the Constitution demands and which has no perceived ending according to the administration itself is the litmus test to see if you are a conservative. I can't understand where they get that from. Oh, wait. Hitler was the one who did that little song and dance in Germany to get support for the 'Final Solution.' You couldn't be a loyal German if you didn't agree with his genocidal policies. And here we are, listening to so-called conservative pundits and columnists who can't distinguish between two very different ideas and refuse to acknowledge the validity of traditional conservative values.  Anyone who does point this out is ostracized and called names or simply ignored completely. The grandure of their corporate dilusion is amazing.

Some would call this the demolition of 'The Market of Ideas' as Limbaugh likes to call it. I've got another take: Welcome to the Fourth Reich.

Ideological Sell-outs Strike Again

Wow, this is the funniest and most insane stuff this side of the United Nations. A recent story on the BBC 1 claimed that Global Warming is now causing some glaciers to grow! If this isn’t evidence to prove the nature of the people who adhere to this ideology I don’t know what is. They sacrifice all logic on the alter of government control.

If they can sell the lie to the masses then they can mandate government control on all aspects of manufacturing, shipping and private transportation. In fact, if an international treaty is signed based on the theory that humans have caused the earth’s atmosphere to warm, they could ban all private forms of transportation altogether by controlling the amount of pollutants any particular nation is allowed to produce regardless of the fact that 500 years ago, way before the internal combustion engine and Al Gore who created all of our modern conveniences were around, the median tempurature was an average of 5 degrees warmer than it is now.  Beyond that there is the total disregard for the tiny problem that they simply cannot quantify what the amount of human induced green house gasses are, prove that there are such things as green house gasses, if they can affect the atmosphere or that they do have an affect at all.

Let’s go back to a point though: The idea that a scientist’s climate models can tell them that Global Warming is coming, is for one thing silly, because the computer models are finite in their complexity as opposed to the infinitely complex atmosphere. Second they are based on a whole lot of crap – plain and simple. For example: They don't take into account the reflective and also cooling affects of water vapor in the atmosphere, probably because no computer is capable of crunching that magnitude of complexity of data. Nor the secondary effect of water evaporation in the oceans that would counter any temperature surge in the atmosphere and thus automatically act as a natural thermostat to cool things down. This factor alone is absolutely an enormously huge hole in their predictive abilities because water vapor is not an insignificant percentage of the earth's atmosphere, nor of the interior of Al Gore's head.

Also, do you remember a few years ago when the whole world was told that human pollution was causing the ozone layer above Antarctica to dissolve and form a large hole? It was all blamed on us American’s and our evil aerosols and our use of free-on. Well that was a lie, and here is a simple explanation as to how this is so: The trade winds along the equator circulate air in the atmosphere from the South Pole to the equator and also from the North Pole to the equator and back. For the most part there is very little circulatory exchange from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere and definately not a total exchange. If you have an elementary school understanding of physics you now have a light bulb going off in your head saying, “That means that the pollution of Europe and America stays in the northern hemisphere.” And you would be right. One gold star to you!
So then if our pollution was destroying the ozone layer over any pole it would be the North Pole. But it is not. You’re probably saying to yourself, “Wait a minute, where did the hole in the ozone layer come from then?” There are two obvious options. One is that Kofi Annan is from the southern hemisphere and the Ozone hole probably orignated as a result of his spewing natural gasses in the course of his campaign to become head of the U.N. The other is that the earth belched huge quantities of Chlorine. Even though I would have guessed the former, it is the later. Mount Erebus 2 is a huge volcano in Antarctica which spews  about 1000 tons of chlorine into the atmosphere under the South Pole everyday. Also the Eruption of Mt. Pinotubo in the early ‘90s is also blamed for a large part of the ozone depletion as well, but the media conveniently forgot to mention this to us.

Then there is the Russian climatologists who just announced that the world is going to start a new mini Ice Age in the next few years.3 I really wish they would make up their minds which it is. 1975 they claim we’re all going to freeze to death. A few years later the World Renowned and universally respected "scientist" Ted Dansen claims we’re all going to fry and the oceans are going to boil. My reaction to it all: Wow, there is no finer example of how the War on Drugs is an utter disaster.

What this all really is, is the perfect example of rampant humanism in the culture. To think we are capable of destroying the planet in the first place is a stretch. Secondly, to assume we have all knowledge of the complexity of the environment and its intradependent relationships is the height of idiocy and arrogance - again rampant humanism. Third even if we were able to grasp the enormous complexity of our world firmly and thus were able to analyze the efftects of our contributions to the makeup of our atmosphere, we certainly couldn't take into account the vastness of the universe and all that bombards our planet daily from solar radiation to meteors and even our own debris from space exploration.

Many scientists theorize that the fluctuations of earth's temperatures and even climate extremes such as hurricanes can be attributed to sun-spots or the sun's activity from season to season. But the humanists insist that we are gods and therefore to be held accountable for everything that happens to our planet. The environmentalists who really are just communists and have nothing more in mind than the collapse of capitalism as their aim are all for blaming those they disliked in the first place for the supposed ailments we are supposed to be seeing all around us.
So the media plays along and reports record tempuratures, has environmental warnings in weather reports to try and disuade you from driving your car or mowing your lawn in the summer time and all the while those few days it gets really hot in the summer time you're supposed to have the impression that they're a lot longer and much worse every year. And its all geared towards World Government, through regulation of the production and use of energy. Can anyone say, "Redistribution of Wealth"?

The Communists dream can be a reality if we only believe that Al Gore isn't a weeping willow and that evil American capitalists are destroying the planet through their callus attitude towards the environment and the poor. But that's another article.

To the Federal Reserve Masters and their kind.

In the past few months research has lead me to some uncomfortable conclusions regarding our monetary system and its purpose. Sometimes its hard to give voice to your thoughts when they are a cocophany running from so many different emotions. So below is the poem I wrote about the situation that a few elites have created in this nation and many others around the world for the benefit of themselves and the creation of their own class of serfs - the rest of us. If you would like to research the problems here are a couple of websites to help:

www.freedomtofascism.com - Aaron Russo, a well known movie producer went on a personal quest to discover whether or not there is a law that requires the average American to have to file a Federal Tax Return. See what he discovered that has many Americans ready for a new Revolution.

www.worldnewsstand.net - We all get upset when politicians tell us one thing to get elected and do the opposite when they occupy the office we gave them. Ever wonder why this is such a pervasive phenomenon? Read about some history that you weren't taught in school and then you'll discover why there is such a disconnect between the government and the people it is supposed to be serving. Look under the "Freedom Issues" section on the left hand side.

http://stopspp.com - Is Tom Tancredo a nut? Did Rep. Ron Paul have too much eggnog at the Christmas Party? What's going on with the supposed formation of a supranational government and the disolution of our nation? Find out what has true Patriots outraged and stupified with disbelief here.

My Poem -

Pieces of shredded sky mingle with dust at midnight.
Shadows and moonlight dance between giving life to death.

So much that once was beautiful has decayed and crumbled.
Creating a sense of fear in all that look anew,
Shouting with rage at the guilty who neglected such a garden.

Life and light have faded. But the screams of glee from the children who once played here echo.
And men congregate to discuss the rule of the people who are left.

"Sir," the wind whispers "Do you not see reality? The drones you have created were once beings with thier own inherent beauty and abilities."
He stirs and looks around while the rest of them talk of exchange and interest.
He sees old pillars. He sees old benches and not the lives of what he deems the useless.

The bombs they create are not of metal and physical destruction.
The waters they pollute do not run down to the seas.
The air they defile is not breathable,
But the stench is real.

One day I opened my eyes and saw the men standing there laughing.
I did not know what they were laughing about.
Conquest and Lordship?
Of what may I ask?

This dirty and neglected field that was once a celebrated garden.
The people still toil in hope that it will return.
You bind their eyes and tell them stories of things to come, of a perverted version of the pristine.
They have forgotten all that once was in return.

You little evil men who scheme against mankind:
What do you have to say for the billions of ruined lives?
Mysteries of gold and spiritual wonders you mix with the blood of their brothers,
They eagerly drink your offerings with no window into your minds.

We toil in your system, looking for the cure.
Cursing the day's darkness and the needless pain that we endure.
What little control of our lives we have when all that we adore,
Is ripped from our souls and put upon a shelf in some cold store.

I do not hate your money or the things that it can buy.
I hate your corrupt use of it and all the inherent lies.
You force feed us this poison you milked from that damned snake
You found in the garden before we could awake.

My God, my God what have they done?
They mock you when they kill us all for money and blame it on your Son.
After all the wars for peace are over will we ever get it right?
In the end I think we'll all admit your Blessed Son was right:
We cannot see the truth, we will not see the light.
We're blinded in the darkness and its only You we choose to fight.

You little evil men who scheme against all mankind:
What do you have to say for the billions of ruined lives?
Mysteries of gold and blasphemy you mix with blood and poison.

It will be tears of joy and freedom that fall from all of your imprisoned,
When you meet with your demise.

Worthy?

Note: This posting contains lyrics from songs which are offensive. This is not for children to read. Although I have edited the original lyrics to the songs, there is only so much editing one can do without losing the meaning. Please act accordingly.

"While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free,
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer.
God Bless America.
Land that I love
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America
My home sweet home." – Irving Berlin, 1888

Its amazing how far we’ve come isn’t it? Doubtless this nation was worthy of these thoughts when it was written. That was about the time that my family came over from the Ukraine, and roughly at the same time Irving Berlin came from Siberia. This nation back then was truly a land of opportunity for those who wanted to make something of themselves. America was a virtual wonderland of religious and economic freedoms. But sadly in the last 80 years this country has lost a lot of its innocence and its appeal. Even in the last few years we as Americans have seen and allowed things to happen that would have been unthinkable even 20 years ago when I was a kid in the suburbs. And now we punish and ridicule publicly those who still believe the old fashioned notions of God and country on the one hand and kill millions of innocent babies on the other.

So I’ve thought a bit and came up with an updated and more appropriate version to Mr. Berlin’s song which more accurately reflects our relationship to the God of the Universe who so many want to ignore and most of the rest in our society just treat like Santa Claus.

While our enemies call for our demise from our midst
Let us remember who made us free
Let us cling to the last of our freedoms
And hope that in spite of ourselves they will always be.
God blames America
Who’s forgotten Him
He will laugh at her prayers
Because she has strayed and played the harlot
From humble and aware of His Grace
To boisterous and proud of her lusts
God ignores America,
Because she has forsaken Him.

I’m sorry if this offends people, but frankly offending you is better than making you feel good about things that are so drastically wrong. Has the concept of truth and morals been totally eliminated from our society? Do you want your ears tickled with permission to sleep with your neighbor’s wife while your underage daughter kills her unborn child right under your nose?

While the prime-time media slowly and surely desensitizes the nation to immorality and calls it virtue what are you doing? Are you sitting there hoping for another glimpse of Janet Jackson’s breasts at the half-time show, worshipping at the humanist alter of athleticism?

Are you spending all your time ignoring God or avoiding God? I daresay the ACLU pays more attention to God in the normal course of the day than the average “Christian” does in this country. Does it really make a difference to God? Jesus certainly seems to think so. According to Revelation He would rather we as proclaimed followers of his be either hot or cold, but not lukewarm. Here are His exact words to the church of Laodicea in Revelation 3:14 – 22 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God; I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’ – and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked – I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on His Throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’”

How ignorant we must be for the things that go on from day to day in this country to be happening. We are truly blind as Jesus said when we see school kids shoot each other in the halls and the resulting outrage isn’t directed at the hate-filled trash they filled their minds with through the MTV culture and Marilyn Manson’s satanic filth, but rather at inanimate objects which were no more capable of committing the acts they are blamed for without a person to wield them than the dust on your bookshelf. If you are a parent of a teenager, have you listened to the music they play? Have you searched online for the lyrics and read what the so-called artists are spoon feeding your children? Here, for the enlightenment of the naive are the lyrics to one of Manson’s songs entitled “Get your Gunn” -

“G**d**n your righteous hand
i eat innocent meat
the housewife i will beat
the prolife i will kill
what you won't do i will
i bash myself to sleep
what you sow i will reap
i scar myself you see
i wish i wasn't me
i am the little stick
you stir me into s***
g**d**n your righteous hand
g**d**n, g**d**n (oh, lord)
g**d**n, g**d**n
pseudo-morals work real well
on the talk shows for the weak
but your selective judgements
and goodguy badges
don't mean a f*** to me
i throw a little fit
i slit my teenage wrist
the most that i can learn
is in records that you burn
get your gunn, get your gunn
get your gunn, get your gunn
pseudo-morals work real well
on the talk shows for the weak
but your selective judgements
and goodguy badges
don't mean a f*** to me
i am the vhs
record me with your fist
you want me to save the world
i'm just a little girl
pseudo-morals work real well
on the talk shows for the weak
but your selective judgements
and goodguy badges
don't mean a f*** to me
get your gunn, get your gunn
get your gunn, get your gunn...get” - Marilyn Manson

Can anyone misinterpret what Manson is teaching in his songs as good or even that he might have a plausible deniability as to what his lyrics mean? “I throw a little fit, I slit my teenage wrist.” … “The most that I can learn is in the records that you burn.” … “Your selective judgments and good-guy badges don’t mean a f*** to me.” There can be no other interpretation but the deliberate undermining of the child’s relationship with their parents and the total rejection of their values to the point of violence. “The housewife I will beat, the pro-life I will kill.” Manson and others of his type are deliberately teaching hate of Christianity, of anyone who puts moral restrictions on the listener, that the listener is incapable of knowledge and that their life is worthless and even suggesting that they commit suicide.

If you can read that song and still believe the guns were responsible for the Columbine shootings, you have as much intelligence as the pieces of lead that flew from those guns. And if that song doesn’t clinch it for you here is another from the album, “Portrait of an American Family” titled “Lunchbox” –

"on we plow the big bully try to stick his finger in my chest
try to tell me, tell me he's the best
but i don't really give a good g**d**n cause
i got my lunchbox and i'm armed real well
i got my lunchbox and i'm armed real well
i got my lunchbox and i'm armed real well
i wanna grow up
i wanna be a big rock and roll star
i wanna grow up
so no one f***s with me
i got the pencils in my pocket, try to put me down
wanna go out, gotta get out
to the playground, gonna throw down at the playground
i wanna go out
next motherf***er gonna get my metal
next motherf***er gonna get my metal
next motherf***er gonna get my metal
next motherf***er
pow pow pow, pow pow pow, pow pow pow, pow pow pow
i wanna grow up
i wanna be a big rock and roll star
i wanna grow up
so no one f***s with me" - Marilyn Manson

This is the kind of absolute filth that many teenagers listen to. This type of garbage straight from the pit of hell is what all of the kids who have massacred their fellow students were filling their minds with before they committed their acts of hatred and arrogance.

This is what happens when Secular Humanism reigns and everything becomes relative with no references to God in the schools or in society at large. Darwin tells the children they are animals, they originated by chance and they have no purpose. Then what is wrong with fulfilling the philosophy of survival of the fittest if that just means elimination of the weak? We’ve told them everything is relative and there are no absolutes. We’ve told them that there are many paths to God and that whatever works for you is okay, but don’t judge me and mine. But these are all lies that lead to the same conclusion: Nothing is evil if we do not have standards and thus everything is permissible. If our laws do not reflect these values, artists like Manson claim we are hypocrites to the teenagers and therefore we have nothing of value to teach them. They tune out, tune into the satanic and kill themselves or others around them because of the hate they have allowed into their minds.

Hey Dad and Mom, it is your responsibility. You’re the one who is allowing your children to be destroyed from the inside out. Are you too busy being their friend to be their parent? Are you too busy with the fruitless endeavor of watching sports on TV to pay attention to your kids? Are you allowing them to repeat your mistakes because disciplining them about the mistakes you made is viewed as hypocritical by your children? You are a fool if you believe these lies. And your cowardice is why our culture is loosing its foundations to the anarchy that is coming. That cowardice and false virtue was rebuked by Christ in saying, “…buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.” We cannot grow in faith by not doing anything with it. We don’t earn gold from Christ by using excuses to keep from communicating our faith and what is right to people around us.

God told us to meditate on His Word. God said that the fear of (reverence towards) God is the beginning of wisdom. He also said, “Honor your Father and your Mother that your days may be long in the land.” This is the only Commandment which came with a promise. Are you teaching your children to honor you by being their parent and showing them the benefits of the values your parents believed in or are you allowing MTV to teach them values? Here’s another MTV value in another Manson song entitled “I don’t like the drugs but the drugs like me.”

"Norm life baby "we're white and oh so hetero and our sex is missionary."
Norm life baby "we're quitters and we're sober our confessions will be televised."
You and I are underdosed and we're ready to fall
Raised to be stupid, taught to be nothing at all
I don't like the drugs but the drugs like me
I don't like the drugs, the drugs, the drugs
Norm life baby "our god is white and unforgiving we're p*ss tested and we're praying."
Norm life baby "I'm just a sample of a soul made to look just like a human being."
Norm life baby "we're rehabbed and we're ready for our 15 minutes of shame."
Norm life baby "we're talkshown and we're pointing just like christians at a suicide."
You and I are underdosed and we're ready to fall
Raised to be stupid, taught to be nothing at all
I don't like the drugs but the drugs like me
I don't like the drugs, the drugs, the drugs" - Marilyn Manson

I don’t think anything more needs to be said regarding Marilyn Manson and his songs. But don’t think for a second the rest of the “music” industry is innocent. If you would like to know what your kids are being fed through their favorite “artists” then there is a documentary out about the pop-stars who have made destroying the minds of the next generation a game.

America has gone down the road towards Sodom and Gomorrah and has even repeated the sins of the peoples which God drove out of Canaan before Israel who sacrificed their children to idols. Abortion for the reason of prosperity or any other number of arrogant attitudes regarding the self being more important than the life of another is idolatry whether or not there is a statue of Molech to receive the baby with fire or the baby is chemically burned to death before it is even out of the mother’s womb. What difference does it make? These details are purely semantic in the long run. The end-result is the same. And if America doesn’t turn soon, the end result for us will be the same as the cultures who have historically turned their back on their Creator to in essence worship themselves. And as we have seen from His Word, He judges those who lose their focus and wander after other gods.

At the beginning of this blog I wrote out the lyrics to God Bless America. I am putting it at the end so that we can actually make it our fervent prayer as the song suggests, with the hope that the reality of where we are stirs enough hearts to earnestly seek the return what the song describes our land once was.

"While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free,
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer.
God Bless America.
Land that I love
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America
My home sweet home." – Irving Berlin, 1888

To the American Muslim

I am going to be perfectly open and honest with you. I don’t think your religion holds any universal truth above mine. I don’t believe that God is on your side just because you are a Muslim, and thus I do not fear you. Rather I think your religion, if it can truly fit the definition since so many countries use it as a political hammer against their own people who are supposedly adherents, is weak. And I believe that other non-Muslim Americans along with many in Europe and Asia are starting to see things the same way. We see distortion, we see propaganda and we see denial of responsibility on your part. Your image and your standing here in the U.S. is getting worse as the days go by and it isn’t because of a lack of effort on the President’s part to try and portray your religion as “peaceful.” Rather it is your own words via your spokesmen with organizations such as the Council for American-Islamic Relations which are giving you a bad name and causing us to doubt your loyalty to America verses Al-queda, or Hezbollah, or the Palestinians for a few examples.

It is appalling to us non-Muslims in America and elsewhere that when someone who is a Muslim tries to kill or otherwise damage another human being all because they are not Muslim or they support Israel, or they are American/British/Spanish/Italian/Indian/Russian etc. that your leaders and those who claim to be speaking for your community do not condemn them as heretics or disavow them as not really being a Muslim at all. No, that is not what we hear. Rather we hear our leaders condemned for calling someone who wants to kill someone who falls into one of the above categories or happens to be a Christian for that matter a fascist. Emotional and whining appeals to stop being mean by not categorizing or identifying a behavior as what it is, fascism, is weak. In fact it isn’t an argument at all. It is pure offense to deflect attention from what is actually happening and instead blame those who have cause against you.

Why do I say fascism is fairly attached to the Muslim community? Here is the definition:

Fascism
n : a political theory advocating an authoritarian hierarchical government (as opposed to democracy or liberalism)

Authoritarianism is what your Sharia Law calls for: All nations and peoples to be subjected to the teachings of Islam and for Islam to rule the world. If this is not the case then you as American Muslims need to stand up and say so publicly and forcefully until those in your Mosques and communities who believe this get it through their head that it is not going to work here in America. That is something America wants to hear.

What excuse do your leaders have? They are afraid of violence against the Muslim communities if they don’t say that they aren’t at fault? That is ridiculous, because every day that they scream at us to stop calling murder by its rightful name, Americans get more doubtful of your loyalty and your intentions.

The facts remain plain and obvious to any unbiased observer: Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists happen to be Muslims - at this point in history. Why is that, or how could this possibly be if we are to believe the propaganda from C.A.I.R. or even our U.S. State Department and the President himself which loudly and unceasingly proclaims the innocence and Gandhi-like quality of the religion of Islam? Is this the truth? Do Muslims believe that the Koran says to convert or kill all Infidels, or do you just want to keep to yourselves and let everyone else live in peace?

There is only one way to prove the latter as opposed to the former, and I am sure you are quite aware of what is required. If not, I will give you some suggestions. And remember I am being totally serious. If you take these suggestions the American people will no longer doubt your intentions and we will welcome you with open arms into our communities. Also let me remind you that America did not attack first: It is always the responsibility of those associated with the aggressor to prove they have no aggressive intentions.

1. Disassociate yourselves from any Muslim group or individual who does not place blame where it is due. Everyone makes choices in life; yes we influence those around us, but ultimately it is your decision to do whatever you do in life and so, true feelings will be revealed by your actions. Disassociating from those who blame the American people or Israel for the problems of the Middle East, or any other problems perceived to exist in the Muslim world and openly calling for them to stop antagonizing and attacking the rest of us would be a huge step forward.

2. Turn over those teachers or individuals who propagate hate-speech against non-Muslims and call for Jihad or violence against any people group, nation, government or religion. We don’t care what place they hold in the community. We do not tolerate hate or bigotry among our religious or political leaders here in America and if you plan on being an American you should learn to do the same. We do not trust those who tell us one thing and do the other.

3. Stop being judgmental of our culture and/or trying to change it to fit your image. Stop flaunting your differences for the purpose of standing out. You chose to come here to America. You voluntarily exposed yourself to the things you find objectionable about our society. No one came to your house and forced you to watch prime-time TV with a gun to your head. No one is forcing you to look at pornography on cable or on the internet. Your walk with God is your responsibility, as is mine. Your Christian counterparts think the same way you do: We don’t like it either but, because we don’t live in a fascist society, everyone has their own rights to live their life however they want. If this is too much for your delicate sensibilities, do what the rest of us do: Don’t go there and get on with life.

These three basic steps of respecting the nation you have chosen to live in; not tolerating bigotry, violence or hate in your communities and also taking responsibility for your own lives while not blaming everyone else for the shortcomings of the few in your communities that do go down the path of violence will go a long way to show the American People that you have good intentions towards us and we will at that point accept you gladly.

Until then however, every denial of culpability when your leaders call for Jihad will earn you disdain and distrust. Every objection and rally against our allies who are struggling against Muslim fascists who refuse to accept any other way but Sharia Law will earn you anger. Every effort to defend those Muslims who are caught trying to kill Americans or any other people for that matter will earn you hatred. I am a Christian and do not intend to attack any Muslim for any reason. But I cannot speak for any of my fellow citizens who may not feel any obligation to allow you to continue to threaten and belittle them or demand special treatment any longer – and that group is getting larger by the minute.

This is something that would be wise to consider and remember before you decide to set yourself against the rest of us in America. Just because most of us are Christians and do not believe in attacking others without cause does not mean that we believe we are not to defend ourselves, our families or our property. This is the critical mistake of the jihadists in America: we like our guns and we know how to use them. We are proud for the most part and we have earned the right to be respected as a nation. If you thought we were France, you were wrong. If you expect us to roll over, we will roll over you. The more you push us the harder our face will be towards you. We may be a patient people, but we have proven to be a deadly adversary to all of those who have called us their enemy.

My advice to you, if you want to stay in this country, and while in it enjoy peace and gain from America’s bounty and generosity, is to take the right steps to appease the anger of your fellow citizens before the patience of those around you has worn out.

We’re all waiting for your response.

Intellectual Castration

Oy ve! I am so tired of people who know nothing but what someone else tells them, or what they read in the Socialist media – also known as the The New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, et al. Most of them aren’t even able to dissect what is said to them in the biased columns meant to spew the pro-fascist propaganda of the Mega-foundations such as Ford and Carnegie. They protest things but they don’t know why. They even sell themselves as intellectual prostitutes for causes they may or may not agree with for minimum wage! For people such as these, ignorance is not an accurate description. Idiocy comes closer but I’m afraid Webster never found the proper term. They sell themselves and their opinion to the lowest bidder because they are ignorant of the truth and they are willingly so.

We are witnessing totally intellectual laziness: Giving our minds over to the siren song of too many distractions to take the time to actually think. The culture says watch this movie, or listen to this music. Watch this TV show, or work long hours to afford the payments on your new expensive toy that everyone is buying. But the message is never to stop and look around. Ask not why the value of the dollar has gone down 96% from where it was before the Federal Reserve came around to “ensure its stability.” Ask not if the sacrifices of your freedom in the name of environmentalism and national security have actually made you healthier or safer in the long run, but where you can get the latest high definition TV!

Our own anti-intellectualism which disables us and makes Americans easy pickings for the globalists bent on destroying our sense of nationalism and sovereignty is castrating us one philosophical precept of our founders at a time. We tune out of what our government is doing and thus loose the ability to follow when they say all the nice things they say to get elected but then do just what you said you wanted stopped. Caused by pure laziness, this mentality is destroying our ability to even attempt to take back what we once had and time is running out! The excuses I hear can be broken down into a few things: Thinking about what is wrong in the world takes energy and makes me uncomfortable so I’ll just watch the wrestling match instead. Reading about U.S. history and why the founders decided to do the things they did doesn’t entertain me like American Idol does. Looking around and wondering why the government says one thing and does the opposite takes time to actually observe something that may not affect me right now, and right now I’m all about learning which celebrity is cheating on their spouse or has said they are gay, because paying attention to someone I’ll never meet and have nothing in common with is so much more important than making sure my kids will have the same opportunity in life that I did.

The bumper stickers of the left are an obvious symptom of the disconnect and an outrage. “Pro family, pro child, pro choice!” That is an oxymoron that a ten year old can figure out is a blatant lie. Hey idiot! You can’t be pro child when you are in favor of killing that child! That’s not pro anything but laziness and convenience, selfishness and arrogance on the part of the human-debris that would be so bold as to kill another human being for the sake of their own comfort! Words appropriate to describe that act are not appropriate for print. The owner of the bumper sticker and the people who kill children will be held accountable before God whether or not you believe in Him.

The arrogance displayed by so many people on the left who think that guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens are a bad thing and a potential disaster waiting to happen is another instance of obliviousness that makes me so incredibly livid. Here is what I would like to say to those who think this way: Hey moron, read the Constitution! It is not up to you to determine if I can defend myself and my family from a violent individual who ascribes to the crap they were taught in the public schools that you defend! The Constitution is above your opinion or the opinion of the rest of the world including the dishonest Jew-hating fools running the U.N. If there were ever a case for owning ridiculous numbers of firearms it is the Communists trying to take our freedoms away in the U.S. State Department in collusion with the other Communists in the United Nations. You can take the guns out of our hands when they are cold and dead, that is if there are any left of you to take them when we’re done defending our God-given rights.

To the Muslim defender: Show me a Muslim convert from Christianity and I will show you a self-loathing westerner who never trusted God in his old beliefs and was taught that America and the West in general is responsible for all the ills in the world by the same Communists who are trying to take away our guns. The only reason that Islam is appealing to them is that they don’t have faith in faith and they think anything anti-western is inherently good. They need rules and regulations and things they can do to appease their conscience because they can’t understand that salvation is free and no one can earn it and no one ever has. Jesus didn’t tell us to follow a regimen of strict observances and ordinances. When a woman was caught in adultery Jesus said, “He who is without sin, let him cast the first stone.” And yet you small-minded self-righteous converts think that a religion which calls for the execution of anyone who falls into temptation in this area is holy? Your psyche is full of holes. They are liars that tell you that Jesus was a good prophet and at the same time sell you the line that Mohammed and Jesus came from the same source. They are not at all compatible and anyone who tells you otherwise is either an ignorant fool who hasn’t read either the Bible or the Koran, or they are a liar. Since it is usually the Muslim who tries to defend their faith by saying Jesus was a great prophet of Allah we know which one it is. Satan is the author of lies, not God.

It takes very little effort to tune out the culture of crap that blinds us to what is actually going on in the world. But if you want to have the freedoms the founders won for us again you would do well to look back at them and see what they spent their time doing. You cannot earn a living by not working; you cannot find the truth by ignoring it. The only way any of us can be worthy of the freedoms we still have is to stop those who are incessantly attacking those freedoms from taking them away. The way to do that is to put aside what you think you know, or what your friends tell you and find out for yourself once and for all and from the sources that make the policies. Read the Constitution! If you live in the U.S. whether or not you are a citizen you should know what the founding documents say and guarantee to those who are called Americans. Read about the men who wrote the founding documents. How can you know which interpretation of those documents are true if you don’t know what the men who wrote them believed? Can anyone honestly say that the Second Amendment refers to only state-run militias if they read what the men who wrote it said in favor of it? No. Can anyone honestly say there is an establishment clause in the First Amendment if they read it and then find out that the whole thing is based on a private letter written by Jefferson to a Baptist Minister and not on any official policy statement or law passed by the Congress? No. But there are millions of people who drink the Communist cool-aid willingly because they are too lazy and distracted to find out what actually happened for themselves.

So I repeat what one bumper sticker on the back of a liberal’s hatch-back said this morning: “Wake Up!” Tune in! Find out for yourself what Jefferson believed about religion and the government. Find out for yourself what the objective of the States was when they signed onto the Constitution. Read the Federalist Papers and realize what was at stake and what everything means by what the people who started it all believed! Find out why there is a Second Amendment and why the people who put it in the Constitution thought it was important! Ignore the idiot professors and so-called legal experts on the news telling you that you’re too stupid to know what really is going on. They would like to think that, but you will have no excuse when the last vestiges of the Constitution have no relation to the laws of America it is nothing but a relic in the Smithsonian.

...No Millionaire Left Behind

You can probably guess the context of that statement easily enough if you know the nature of the people that made it. The full quote is, “Compassionate Conservatism, No Millionaire Left Behind.” The idea you are supposed to come away with is that Bush loves rich people and doesn’t care about the poor and that conservatives in general are cold-hearted at their best, as when they are even making the attempt to be compassionate. Let’s look at the major components of this statement.

First, the statement that the President cares only about millionaires and that his policies ensure their good fortune is uninterrupted at the expense of everyone else is made despite the fact that Bush doesn’t write or vote on the laws that would have to be in place to accomplish such a thing. It is correct to say that the President has an agenda with which he attempts to give direction to Congress. Members of Congress then write the necessary laws that would accomplish those goals and then – if Congress agrees with the agenda put forth, if the citizens who elected them agree with the agenda – it might get enough votes to be passed into law. At best the President can only have an indirect influence, at worst he may have no influence at all upon what Congress actually does, depending on what the makeup of the Congress is in any given session. Blaming the President for something that he really has no direct control over is pretty dumb, but then we all know that all the comedy you truly need can be found oozing from the mouths of the relativists and morons in the social justice crowd.

More evidence can be produced to show that despite the lack of direct control over the process which produces the laws that the left seems to think is harming the poor the President actually has done a great deal to further the causes of the left – if not the poor themselves – because in reality what furthers the liberal agenda most often doesn’t do anything for the people they say it is meant to help. The Education bill written by Senator Ted Kennedy was signed into law with little change and much praise by Bush himself for the efforts of the Senator even though conservatives found it to be a huge blow to the cause of accountability in government.

The Farm Bill was another total failure of the Bush Administration to hold the government accountable for the money it spends and where it is going to. American farmers complain that competition from outside the nation is sapping their ability to compete, yet the Agriculture Department sets prices to insulate the farmers from competition and even pays them not to grow crops leaving the land unused. Throughout the country farmers get subsidies from the government, the government ensures their profits and yet they continue to complain and excuse their own illicit hiring of illegal aliens as a necessary evil because of the competition of world markets. President Bush has given to almost every major liberal cause what the democrats in Congress have asked for and in return he has earned for himself ridicule, abuse and lies.

Second, the idea that millionaires are too fragile to fend for themselves is idiocy plain and simple. Socialists love to lie about the true nature of the successful in the world saying that they are life’s lottery winners, that they were born with silver spoons in their mouths or that they were just at the right place at the right time. Whatever the reason they give to explain why someone is successful and rich it never sites the individual’s own efforts or talents; it is always just some lucky boob that stumbled into a pile of money they didn’t earn much less deserve to keep. This really is the whole crux behind the idea of socialism: The transfer of money from the rich to the poor, not because the poor did anything to deserve the money, but because according to the socialists the rich aren’t worthy of the money they have. It is the oldest of human sins: arrogance, coupled with the most compelling of human vices: jealousy. The communists/socialists (Really is there a difference between the two?) are by their nature and what they focus on, the greediest among us. Their arrogance and self-righteousness helps them to believe that they are altruistic and their ideas would benefit all mankind when really all they want to do is see people who have contributed to the world and made life easier for everyone with their ideas and innovations knocked down a few pegs.

It has been proven time and time again that most millionaires in the world, and even most of the world’s billionaires are new to the world of the rich. They have made their money on their own. They are the first generation of their family to be considered truly wealthy if not the first to even be among the middle class. Some are second generation rich like Warren Buffet whose father was well off by most standards, but had nothing compared to his son.

Those who became rich on their own whose parents weren’t regulars at the country club outnumber the ones who inherited their wealth. The Rockefellers, Fords, Carnegies, etc. are the exception, not the rule. In fact the number of people joining the ranks of the rich is growing significantly every year. Most financial magazines tout this fact annually. And the features of the articles are the ones who made it big with all the odds against them. Single mothers who struck out on their own, starting a business in their kitchen, or a second bedroom of an apartment aren’t an uncommon sight. Bill Gates, Paul Allen, Steve Jobs, Phil Knight, Michael Dell, the founders of Yahoo and Amazon.com are all recent additions to the world of the rich, yet they are some of the biggest names in business here in the U.S. Forbes Magazine reports that this year there are 793 billionaires in the world. In 2003 there were only 376. Most of the people who were added to the list are people who have made the money themselves. Of the people on the list nearly half – 371 – are Americans. These people aren’t beneficiaries of George Bush and a bias from the White House against every one else. A very small percentage of them are even involved in anything to do with energy exploration, “big oil” or the military. Thus the idea that millionaires and the rich are winners of life’s lottery or that conservatives are just ‘good ol’ boys’ protecting each other and their own interests against the rest of society is without foundation and ridiculous.

Perhaps a brief explanation of conservative philosophy on the matter of money would help put this in perspective. Conservatives believe that hard work and perseverance will lead to success even if it takes multiple tries. It’s the old adage of what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. The millionaires are the survivors, the ones who take a bad situation and turn it around on their own without help from the outside. The other half of this belief is that it is wrong to take money that you haven’t earned such as welfare for example. That isn’t to say that some times in people’s life the circumstances can’t get out of hand and you end up taking a little public assistance in order to survive. No one can fault you for things that you didn’t do, however everyone has a choice to make: Live on the assistance and take advantage of the system longer than necessary - sometimes permanently, or do whatever it takes to get back on your feet and off the public’s money. The successful ones in life are the ones who take public assistance as a last option. To them it is a shameful act to take money they haven’t earned unless there is no way around it. They try as many times as it is necessary to stand on their own two feet because it is a matter of honor. They are driven to succeed.

Socialists believe that they are just lucky, that the money they have they got by cheating others and taking obscene profits from the less fortunate people around them. Logically this is absurd for several reasons, but then socialists rarely delve into the realm of logic. Business men who take advantage of others do not get ahead in a free market society because competitors who treat their customer’s better or have better prices will earn the consumer’s trust and their business which takes the market share away from the business which doesn’t respect their customers or fails to innovate. This is why Wal-Mart – despite the criticism from the left – is the most successful store of its kind in the U.S. The accusation that Wal-Mart is in business to shut down other small businesses is a stretch to say the least and most likely not provable in any case. They simply build stores because there is an opportunity for growth. The other businesses in the area can adjust, innovate and do what is necessary to survive or they will lose their customers. The competition in business allows the consumer to have an active role in refining the business’ practices and this goes for all businesses – except the ones which are propped up by government money such as the farms and the educational institutions; they just perpetuate themselves by paying off politicians.

So business is in a lot of ways a great example of real-world evolution. The strongest and most adaptable organizations survive, the weak don’t. Thus the millionaires among us are the leaders, the ones to look to for clues as to how we can better ourselves and become rich too.

The third problem with that bumper sticker is the implication that conservatives are not compassionate but rather cold-hearted selfish people. Nothing could be further from the truth. Apart from the statistics of who gives the most to charities in this country – conservatives give by far the greatest percentage to all charities, there is absolutely nothing compassionate about socialism! Socialism says, “Oh you poor unfortunate soul, here have some money so you can be comfortable.” Socialism leaves the poor in the mire they are in, and then simply adds to their ranks by punishing those who have the drive to be successful. They tax the money away from the successful to give to those who don’t have a job or don’t want to work. They enable those who are poor to be dependent on the assistance they are given. Meanwhile the rich, who are the ones who create most of the new jobs that the poor are looking for, have the resources they would otherwise use to create new jobs, new products and new companies taxed away. So not only are the people on public assistance a drain to society because they aren’t paying taxes, but the people who enable them to stay dependent have robbed society of countless innovations that could have been available to everyone if only their resources for research and development had not been confiscated and given to people who did not earn the money.

Compassion is helping someone become better; compassion is not helping someone do nothing with their lives. Compassion sees the possibilities and potential and pushes people to reach for them; socialism sees the problems and creates jealousy of and anger towards those in society who have contributed the most. Liberals speak with words that are soaked with honey so you cannot see the fork in their tongues.

If the bumper sticker was truthful it would read something like this: Conservatism breeds millionaires, come join the fun!

Miss-Information

Have you been paying attention to the theme that has been playing in the media for several months now concerning Iraq and the War on Terror? If you have and you aren’t on mood altering drugs yet I commend you for your fortitude, because frankly it is depressing to see just how irrelevant and misguided the stories ran really are.

Recently at a press conference after the killing of the top leader of Al-Queada in Iraq, several reporters asked amazingly disturbing questions such as whether or not the photos of Zarqawi’s face were “photo-shopped”, and if the U.S. troops had killed him in the end. They asked about the possibility of children being in the house that was bombed and why the military hadn’t decided to go in and get him instead of bombing the house. Other questions dealt with issues such as Muslim burial concerns and the possibility of Zarqawi’s wife being there at the time. The vast majority of the questions centered on Zarqawi and his followers regarding how the U.S. military had treated them in the attack, whether or not first aid was administered and whether the attack was necessary in the first place. Only one reporter asked the obvious and relevant question: Was any positive intelligence gained from the papers retrieved after the attack and how this is helping in the hunt for the terrorist insurgents killing our troops everyday. One question in probably two dozen at least was relevant. The rest was the touchy feely crap that doesn’t matter to anyone except the press and relativists who can’t fathom the concept of absolute right or wrong.

How in the short span of 50 years has the attitude of the press gone from one of writing headlines that were elated at our victory in World War Two, to theorizing and pursuing accusations of conspiracies and “ill-treatment” of our enemies by our own military today?

According to the social relativists we are supposed to have a kinder, gentler military which tries its hardest to reduce or even eliminate – not the enemy – but “civilian” casualties. The media is obsessed with pursuing the idea that we need to restrain ourselves from damaging relationships with the Iraqi government but at the same time they loudly proclaim, repeatedly I might add, every single casualty of our troops. The message is that we need to get out. We need to cut and run. It is proclaimed to be too much for “the average American” to take, and so we need to withdraw the troops, or redeploy them somewhere else. Anything but actually fight the people who’s only desire in this life is to kill Americans and install totalitarian Muslim law around the globe.

Where does the media get the idea that most Americans want troop withdrawal? They take polls showing that most people think we are going in the wrong direction in Iraq. They take polls showing that America is fatigued by the war and want something to change. They take polls on President Bush’s war performance, the budget for the war, the casualties in the war and every other aspect they can possibly paint as a negative against the war. They see that as a positive for the social justice fools and a way to defeat the conservatives at the ballot box, but they are wrong.

The question of whether people agree with how the war is being handled is only part of the picture. The question they don’t ask is the clue to how the average American really thinks about the War and also a tell-tail sign about the media’s agenda against the War on Terror. I would bet my whole year’s wages on the outcome of a poll which asked this simple question: “Do you think that President Bush should use all necessary means to stop the insurgency in Iraq as fast as possible?” To any normal person the obvious answer would be a resounding yes. In fact, I would be willing to go double or nothing that the person asking the question will get many very good suggestions as to how to accomplish that which would make the little effeminates in the media run for cover. That of course is the very reason why the results of that poll would never be published. Americans are angry with the timidity displayed by the Bush administration and the Pentagon in how they are handling this war. I mean really, “Shock and Awe?” How about droop and yawn? With the amount and kind of force we have at our fingertips the fact that we are unwilling to use it even to save our own boys on the battlefield is really very telling. What shocks and awes me is was not the show of force we displayed when we invaded Iraq, because realistically that wasn’t really necessary. A few well-aimed Inter-Continental Ballistic Nuclear Missiles would have done nicely without having to commit a single man to more than pushing a few buttons.

The shock comes from how we are treating our enemies versus how we are treating our own soldiers. Anyone remember Abu-Ghraib? The prison guards stripped a few prisoners and made them form a human pyramid then took pictures while the prisoners were blindfolded. The result was a resounding uproar from the relativists and the talking-heads. The so-called prisoner abuse was what most people in America would recognize as a harmless college fraternity prank. No one was shot, no one was even hurt. Humiliated? Yes, but nothing worse than what our soldiers endure in boot camp in the hands of their drill-sergeant. But the heads had to roll, because the talking-heads were. Everyone I talked to during that episode was perplexed as to why that even was an issue. They agreed that deliberate humiliation of prisoners needed to be discouraged, however it wasn’t worth jail time or a court-martialing of the soldiers involved.

I am awed by the idiocy displayed by our military commanders in taking the enemies words on the conduct of our soldiers above their own and the lack of any evidence proving guilt, resulting in the shackling and charges of murder being now leveled against 7 Marines and one young man in the Navy for the killing of one Iraqi. The family of the dead Iraqi claims he was just minding his own business and that the troops stormed the house for no reason, shot him, then proceeded to make it look like he was an insurgent by placing a gun and a shovel by his side. Our troops say that they were making a routine sweep of the area because an IED had gone off in the column they were in and their job is to hunt down the people responsible in a quick response before the people involved have a chance to get far. They go into buildings with guns firing, not because they thirst for blood but because they are taught to do it that way for their own safety. And yet when one Iraqi is killed they are charged with murder? How does this make any sense? It just doesn’t.

This isn’t your grandpa’s country anymore. We have been feminized, sensitized and the cahoney’s this country displayed in centuries past were sold by the Clinton Administration - probably for a sexual favor. The questions the media asks the generals are proof enough. The assumptions attached to those questions are insidious and insulting but they fit in a greater context that can easily be seen if we take a step back and look at the process of change this country has had forced upon it in the last couple of decades alone.

Total immorality blatantly displayed and defended in the public square is the norm today. Gay marriage, gay pride, abortion on demand, condoms handed out to under-age students in high schools across the nation. Thousands march in the street supporting the undermining of the laws in our country by excusing illegal immigrants no matter how egregious their trespass. There is one factor that all of these issues have in common though: they are illegitimate in the eyes of the average American citizen.

The American people have not come out by the hundreds of thousands demanding gay marriage, or even abortion on demand. 75% of the people or more are against every one of these issues, but if you listen to the media it is the exact opposite ratio. To them it is only the small minority who are the “extremists” and the “bigots” that would actually deny two gay men the ability to destroy their own lives in peace and give them responsibility for an innocent baby’s upbringing – oh and incidentally that probably means they are also gay but unwilling to admit it.

Where is my proof? How about measure 36 here in Oregon in the last election? It was against gay marriage and it passed by more than 60 percent in one of the most liberal states in the nation. Similar bills were proposed in ten other states that same November and all of them passed. 75% of American citizens are against legalization of the millions of illegal aliens who have smuggled themselves into the country. No amnesty plan is acceptable to the vast majority; however the media focuses on the suffering of the Mexican nationals in the Arizona desert and inflates the rallies that took place in favor of amnesty while downplaying the significant role that communist organizations played in the orchestration of those rallies.

Planned Parenthood won’t admit it, but all over the U.S. the tide is turning against them. Abortion is less and less popular by the hour and the voters have proven that this is a losing issue by electing Bush over the pro-abortion Senator Kerry as well as all the other factors, but the media won’t report it as such and amidst all of the reasons why there is one that flows through every issue subtly but certainly a large factor.

The feminist movement in the U.S. which in its modern incarnation has destabilized the family and dehumanized masculinity has literally crushed the idea of what it is to be a man and given only one alternative: be a woman. You can see it in the TV shows, the relentless portrayal of men as idiots in commercials, you can see it in the news, you can look around society and know it deep within you as a man because we all know we are not allowed to be who we were meant to be. We are told to behave, be nice, be oriented around feelings but never be ourselves. Thus a generation of men have grown up and become leaders of our higher education, or news organizations and our politics thinking that their instincts of justice and punishment for wrong are unnatural.

Men were created to build, destroy, work hard and gain satisfaction by our efforts and the tasks that we have accomplished in life. That includes the natural instinct to defend our family and our homes which naturally extends itself to our nation. Women were created to nurture and to find meaning in relationships. They know this by instinct to be protective and gentle and this is good. But it is not good when socialists and morons chant incessantly that men are supposed to do the same thing and anyone who has the gall to solve a problem like John Wayne would, or even Clint Eastwood is thought of as not macho but unstable and even a menace to society.

Thus the pansies have the upper-hand, even if it is limp. To combat violent murderers they propose confiscation of your ability to defend yourself. To stop intolerance silence anyone who disagrees with them. And they always fight for causes that make them feel good about themselves whether or not they will help anyone in the long run.

The Miss-information that has taken over the media and our system of higher education will, unless it is stopped, be seen in the future as the downfall of the West and of the greatest power for good this world has ever seen, America. Our enemies don’t have our media’s preoccupation with gentleness and self-loathing. And if our media is allowed to continue degrading our sense of justice and our sense of pride in being Americans they and we will all soon be speaking Arabic.

Democracy

The way everyone in the media keeps saying that we’re a democracy and President Bush repeats the line that we’re spreading democracy to other nations, you’d think it was some sort of religious epiphany they all had been coming to. Most people think that the U.S. is a democracy, and currently they would be mostly right, however the misconception is that we were always a democracy since our founding.

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson would sooner have let King George reign supreme and have all the taxes he could get than have created a democracy. That might be a strong statement, but largely I am sure it can be proved because many of the checks and balances they built into the government at its founding are totally opposed to how a democratic government is run, or at least how ours is presently configured. The first ingredient is defining what a democracy is verses what a republic is.

Examples of a working democracy seemingly are all around us, even if they don’t last that long. Classically democracy was defined by the founders as, “Mob Rule.” The basic philosophy of a democracy is to give equal representation to all people by their government no matter how educated, experienced or relevant their opinion on any particular matter might be. The major problem with this which was foreseen by the founders and was the reason they detested the idea of creating a democracy in the first place is that when everyone has an equal say by virtue of their vote then the tendency becomes to create voting blocks which are opposed to each others interests. Some may be better organized than another with an equally valid point and so their issues might be dealt with while others who are either less organized or perhaps unpopular at the moment are ignored or even maligned. Politicians could use the emotional bickering of different people groups to gain favor and also pay off the voters with benefits that are unethically taken from another group with less power. As you can see because of nature of the beast called democracy discrimination is practically built in and there is no cure.

Beyond the potential problems there is more evidence that the founders didn’t intend for us to be a democracy. In the beginning of our republic not everyone was allowed to vote, but the exclusions weren’t only women and minorities. Originally only those who owned land or a business were allowed to vote. There were specific and good reasons for this. Those who owned property were the educated that also paid the bulk of the taxes. They were the ones with means who were able to do most of the purchasing and producing of goods and since most taxes were based on consumption of goods they were the ones most affected by any change in the tax laws. It makes sense then to have the property and business owners be the ones who regulated how much the government was allowed to dole out by virtue of their ability to determine the outcome of elections.

When you throw in the votes of those who don’t directly benefit from the government’s programs it dilutes the regulatory influence on the government’s ability to confiscate your property, because the politicians can now bribe the other voters who will not immediately suffer by the businessman’s losses with benefits they ethically are not entitled to at the expense of those who are the creators of the wealth in the country.

This is why the founders referred to democratic forms of government as “Mob Rule.” The desire of the majority of people, whether their demands are legitimate or not, override the actual needs of the community by virtue of their numbers. Any perceived benefit that the majority can take from the minority – the business and property owners – will be dangled by the politicians in order to gain favor from the majority and thus stay in office. Once you start down this path however, the government at one point or another will either bankrupt itself or the society will fissure into competing interest groups that effectively destroy the nation’s sense of identity from within. Both are currently happening to the U.S. This is why no democracy in the history of the planet has ever lasted. No matter how altruistic the intentions of the founders of a democracy, the simple rules of human nature will dictate that it will always crumble, usually from within long before any outside force is able to conquer it. Rome is the ultimate example.

Democracy’s current incarnation in the U.S. isn’t quite 100% a democracy yet. For all intents and purposes however, the difference is benign. The only real vestige of our once great republic that hasn’t been totally ignored is the Electoral College. Some would disagree and say the Constitution still is the supreme law of the land. For those who labor under this delusion I’d like to ask them to show me just one piece of the Constitution that hasn’t been twisted and misused in order to increase the government’s authority over the lives of those it governs.

But as I was saying, in recent years the Electoral College has come up as a contentious issue – for democrat party at least – and the reason behind that is because the Electoral College is a body of representatives of the political parties that vote in proxy for the people in the final vote that actually elects the President. Electoral College representatives who are appointed by the party of the candidate that won their state’s votes are not legally bound to vote as the people who they represent voted. They can change their vote, but only once in the history of the Electoral College has anyone done this. The reason this check in the people’s power to directly elect their president was put into the Constitution is the same theme the democrat party has been yelling about in every election they lose – election fraud, and the founders were of the mind that the general population had no business electing the president. Only those that really care about the country enough to be involved politically on a scale that would gain them recognition and admiration within their own party would have the right to elect the leader of the country – for a good reason: they know the issues, the background, the contributing factors and largely they are not influenced by false reports and propaganda as those in the general public are, because they are usually the ones who were there at the actual events those propagandists are trying to distort.

First hand knowledge of the political process and the reasons behind what is going on. First hand knowledge of the leaders of the parties and the ones who will actually be voted on. First hand experience working with those in the party who have been activists for change and have supported the men being voted on. And with this first hand knowledge, comes the ability to see facts amidst the rumors, half-truths and lies being told by either side. After all, have you ever met the President? Have you ever sat down with him in some strategy meeting five years before he announced his candidacy and heard him complain about even the mundane things in life? Can you tell where his heart is at when you watch his polished speeches on the evening news? No, of course we have not. We can only guess, but there are those behind the scenes who know and have the ability to change his mind by their proximity to him. Shouldn’t these people who represent the issues the party says it believes in have the ability to say, “Yes, I’ve seen him at his worst and best and know him to be an honest man who will be able to make a positive difference for the country.”

These people who make up the Electoral College are given the chance to influence the process of the election of the President because they know him, they have worked with him and they have seen the sides that have been either exaggerated or belittled. They know the truth of the matter and bring us that are on the outside closer by virtue of their ability to change the outcome of the election. If they are honest and did change their vote based on the conviction of their conscience, we would know that the man they know is not the same man we thought he was. We will have insight that wasn’t available to us without their integrity.

If we take the Electoral College out of the picture, not only will we have thrown away the last vestige of our republic, we will also have totally separated ourselves as individuals in those parties from the President we elect in an effort to bring him closer. How ironic.

A republic is based on the idea that those that work hard and produce something for themselves and the others around them will have a voice in the government for the purpose of keeping the government from taking away their ability to produce – namely their property. When our republic was founded, the intention wasn’t to give voice to everyone regardless of who they were, it was to ensure freedom for everyone regardless of who they were. There is a big distinction in this difference. As an American our Constitution – if it was followed – would ensure your freedom to buy from anyone, speak to anyone, do with your own property as you saw fit and as long as you didn’t infringe on other’s rights to do the same you were fine. Those that used this freedom to gain property and to produce things that others wanted to buy were given a voice in the government because no one is free if they aren’t allowed to govern their own property.

At the beginning of our Republic, the public did not elect the Senators in the U.S. Congress, the state legislatures did. This gave the states a voice and allowed them to have the ability to regulate how much power the federal government had over the states. The sovereignty of the individual states was a very important issue to the colonists, because they did not want anything to do with having a centralized government that would act like a monarchy – totally detached from the people’s will and too far away from most of them to do anything about it. By the same token, the U.S. Supreme Court justices were selected by the president and approved by the Senate, but no direct input is given by the public. The reasons for this way of thinking comes from the idea that even though men are created equally, they do not all end up that way. Yes all men have the same rights, however not all exercise the best judgment and therefore some are better suited to lead. What one man prizes may be totally against the societies values at large and so giving everyone the right to decide who is in the government is really counter-productive to proper governance. It was very logical to the founders th
